Rain Barrels
Rain Barrels are an excellent way to reduce stormwater runoff.  Often times this unfiltered runoff water is contaminated with toxins such as pesticides, sediments and bacteria. Rain barrels help to decrease this runoff by capturing the water before it enters the watershed.

Benefits of using a Rain Barrel
  •  Use captured rain water on outdoor lawns and gardens or indoor plants.
  •  Use the rain water to wash your car, or to rinse hands, feet or tools.
  •  Rain barrels can save approximately 1,300 gallons of water during the peak summer months.
  •  Rain barrels reduce water pollution by decreasing the amount of toxins that are      filtered into the watershed.
  •  They can reduce land erosion.
  •  Helps control moisture levels around the foundation of your home.
  •  Most importantly you will be demonstrating a heightened commitment to preserve water quality for all inhabitants that depend on water.

Download our brochure on How To Make A Rain Barrel which includes steps on how to make your rain barrel and installation.
